Realm breakers / shadow thrown (world building: maps )

I made this map in my Si-Fi and Fantasy class we are doing a lot of world building and other cool stuff like that I will post some of the story from that class soon . I promise.

A/N I am sorry that I haven't posted one of these in a while, I have been working on the second that I like better than this one because I have changed the point of view to a character in stead of a narrator and I find that it makes more sense and I could add more detail. Leave comments over what you are confused on so when I re-write this story I can change it. thank you all some much for your support. enjoy.

“Yeah I can stay over” Gene said

He crawled into her bed and put his arm around her to keep her warm. And he fell asleep holding her. In the morning Aaron woke up and Zerynn and Gene weren't up yet so he decided to make breakfast which was scrambled eggs and some toast. He also decided to train with the punching dummy that was in the front room.

Gene was the first to wake up, he just laid there holding Zerynn, “she looks so peaceful” Gene said softly.

“It’s because there is someone is there with her” Aaron said from the bottom of the stairwell.

“H..how long have you been standing there” Gene asked stumbling over his words.

“Long enough to have seen you wake up, By the way you look dead when you sleep” Aaron spat out while laughing.

“I was dead at one point that is not funny” Gene said as he got pale.

“How did you die” Aaron asked.

“I don’t want to talk about it, It’s kind of a touchy subject” Gene mumbled.

Aaron had nodded and walked back up the stairs.

“Hmm” Zerynn mumbled

She slowly opened her eyes to see that Gene was there. She smiled to see that he was still there.

mrs.Arndt: Class question what animal would you be if you could be any of them?

Tree frog: (sitting on Mrs. Arndts shoulder)

Nolan: I would be a hawk!

Mrs. Arndt: Gavin!

Gavin: A big hairy dog like a golden retriever.

Mrs.Arndt: Oh look Ethans not here, Brody.

Brody: I want to be a panda

Mrs. Arndt: K. Hannah.

Hannah: I would love to be a tiger.

Gavin: you'd be a Chichiwawa.

Hannah: Oh my heck that's so mean.

Anthony: It’s true though.

Mrs.Arndt: okay guys Angie's turn.

Angie: a Monkey

Mrs. Arndt: bryson.

Gavin: Byron

Byron: A Poodle.

Angie: But it has to be pink.

Byron: UGG. fine.

Mrs. Arndt: Jason what Animal would you be?

Jason: A turtle.

Hannah: that spits acid?

Kassandra: I said that one time!

Mrs.Arndt: (giggling) Kassandra?

Kassandra: I would be a Corgi.

Mrs. Arndt: Anthony.

Anthony: I would be a Liger

*At night when everyone is asleep*

Tree frog: (casts a spell on the class that turns us into animals)

*the next day in class*

Mrs.Arndt: (screams and runs out of the classroom)

Byron: I come into class on time and before everyone and the teacher runs out of the room odd, I guess I will just play golf on my phone all class period.

Anthony: (walking out of the shop) No she was screaming at me because I scared her.

Byron: well did you try to eat her? I mean you are like this really big cat thing that eats people and other big animals.

Ethan: (who is an ant trying to get Anthonys attention)

Anthony: (squishes Ethan) God he is annoying.

Byron: who me?

Anthony: Well you too but I was talking about Ethan this time.

Byron: what Ethan was here

Nolan: (opens the door and kassandra and Hannah walk in)

Byron: (screams)  who walked into the door ?  

Nolan: Kassandra and hannah (while sitting on the ceiling)

Byron: I know that was nolan but where the hell are you?

Anthony: on the ceiling.

Byron: (cowering) but how?

Brody: (walks in with the rest of the class) He flew.

Byron: how did you know?

Brody: I saw him flying into a tree this morning.

Kassandra: Getting up the stairs is a struggle!
Hannah: tell me about it.

Anthony: I wonder how Ethan did it.

Gavin: So Ethan actually showed up today.

Anthony: he did but he was an ant and I kinda squished him.

Gavin: makes sense.

Nolan: actually is does when you see a bug you have to squish it.

Anthony: Right! Anyway he should be fine (mumbles) I think.

Byron: (wining) What does that mean?

Hannah: hey where's Jason?

Byron: Anthony did you squish him too?!

Jason: I am by the door.

Hannah: why?hurry up.

Jason: I am walking as fast as I can, I am kind of a turtle.

Hannah: Can you spit acid?

Jason: I don’t think so?

Kassandra: I said that one time.

*five minutes later*

Hannah: So you are a lion tiger type thing?

Anthony: I am a Liger and you are a pappy dog.

Hannah: hey!!

Anthony: don’t worry so is Kassandra, and Byron's dog is the type of dog that thinks they are pretty but is really the ugliest dog in the world but he’s pink so I guess it makes up for it.

Hannah: what about Gavin, He’s a dog?

Anthony: that breed of dog seems appropriate for Gavin they are friendly.

Hannah: why is Brody a panda?

Anthony: I can’t find any better reasoning then he wants to be a sound-cloud rapper.

Brody: (rapping panda by desiigner)

Hannah: great now I am going to have that song stuck in my head.

Brody: your welcome.

Kassandra: so what are we going to do for the rest of the day?

Anthony: I don’t know what have you guys been doing so far?

Kassandra: I have been hiding in my friends backpacks.

Hannah: same.

Anthony: what about the rest of you?

Gavin: I was pretending to be a service dog in training.

Angie: My host sisters car.

Jason: my brothers backpack.

Byron and Brody: the bathroom.

Nolan: the trees outside. I have been the view of people all day because apparently no one has seen a hawk before.

Anthony: they are very hard to spot and they are kind of cool birds to see when we do find them.

Nolan: you really think I am cool?

Anthony: God, I really hope this wears off soon.

Everyone: Same!!

*the end of the day when everyone is back to sleep, they all turned back into humans. Ethan turned out to be fine but was really badly bruised in the face so he decided not to show up to school for the rest of the week*

-Before they walk in the cabin-

Nolan: Hey guys, I brought flashlights!

Gavin: And a teddy bear for moral support that he won't share (glares at Nolan)

Nolan: Her name is Lexi get it right!

Hannah: Oh my heck, who cares, can you just pass out the flashlights.

-branch breaks-

Ethan: that branch was to big for an animal to break.

Angie: (shaking because she’s cold and scared) how about those flashlights.

Nolan: (looking behind him) I’m getting there.

Angie: Hurry up… please.

Nolan: (Walking around the group) one for you… one for you (continues going around the group)

Byron: Really the pink one!
Angie: Pinkies back!

Kassandra: Shall we go in?

Angie: Yes

-goes into the cabin-

Guy in Ski Mask: (lurks in shadows)

-in the cabin-

Hannah: I hate to state the obvious but it’s creepy in here.

Kassandra: Agreed, it also smells like something died in here.

Brody: um… guys can I stay out here?  So you know I could be look out.

Ethan: For what? We are in the middle of nowhere, get your ass in here!

Gavin: I think what Ethan is trying to say is your safer in here that out there.

Byron: Just in case we do get ambushed by a serial killer do we have a weapon? (staring out the window looking at a strange shadow behind a tree)

Angie: What are you staring at Byron?

Byron: It’s probably nothing (staring outside) it's gone now anyway most likely a deer.

Brody: I think I’ll come in side now.

Nolan: Same here, if there is someone outside you guys will not be able to protect me.

Gavin: we’ll protect you buddy.

Nolan: No you wont you still have Ethan carrying you!

Ethan: About that.

Gavin: Don’t you dare put me down!

Ethan: i’m doin it.

Gavin: No

Ethan: Yep

Gavin: If you put me down I will never ever be your friend again.

Ethan: Never is a long time buddy.

Gavin: Fine put me down.

Ethan: I will? (puts Gavin down)

Gavin: Jason! Will you carry me?

Jason: No

Brody: I think we should have a buddy system.

Nolan: I think that we should just stick together.

Kassandra: what the hell is out there!?(looking out the windows into the woods)

-everyone gathers around the window to look out-

Hannah: Oh my heck that looks like a person.

Angie: It looks like he’s holding a knife.

Bryon: (crying) what! Were all going to die!

Ethan: Gavin, go close and lock the door.

Gavin: (walks over to the door and realises it doesn’t lock)  Oh… shit! Um... guys the door doesn’t lock.

Kassandra: Um… we could put a kitchen chair under the handle.

Hannah: that’s not strong enough. We’ll move the couch over to the doorway.

Angie: (looking towards the back of the house) what about the back door?

Ethan: We’ll move the arm chair in front of that door.

Nolan: what about the windows?

Ethan: You Brody and Hannah, will go and close them and put curtains over them. Me Gavin Angie and Kassandra are going to move the heavier pieces of furniture to the doors.

Nolan: What if there’s other doors?

Kassandra: then move big pieces of furniture in front of them.

Byron:(crying and screaming) He’s gone.

Gavin: hurry up!

-After they secure the house-

*sitting in a circle*

Gavin: I feel like if we would have come in here that we would have died already.

Kassandra: (whispering to Angie) Can I have those matches?

Angie: Yeah here, what do you need them for?

Kassandra: I found a fireplace and I am freezing.

Ethan: (whispering) Agreed, by the way you are bad at whispering.

Kassandra: (talking loudly) I am going to make a fire in the fire place over there (points behind Gavin to the side where there is no window)

Hannah: Oh my heck, Yes please it’s freezing.

Kassandra: okay I’m going to go find some firewood.

Gavin: I think that I saw some in the closet next to the stairs along with a rifle and some ammo.

Kassandra: And you didn’t grab the rifle?!

Gavin: I didn’t think about it at the time.

Hannah: I like how she doesn’t care that there is an up stairs.

-a room upstairs creaks-

Hannah: what was that?

Ethan: I don’t know but me and Gavin are going to check it out.

Gavin: Wait, what, Why me.

Ethan: Because you know horror films better than everyone else.

Gavin: Fine but your in front.

Ethan: ( puts arms up like he is surrendering) As long as you come with me.

-Ethan and Gavin going up the stairs-

Gavin: I’m scared.

Ethan: Shh.

Gavin: don’t you…

Ethan: (puts fingers on his lip) Shh. If there is someone up there we don’t want them to know we are coming.

Gavin: Makes sense I didn’t think of that.

-Down stairs-

Hannah: You should go and grab the rifle.

Kassandra: I’m going.

Angie: Hurry up.

kassandra: I got it. Crap. Um, guys you know how we secured the whole house and the fire wood was in the closet.

Hannah: yeah?

Kassandra: Um.. yeah there is no wood just the rifle and Ammo, so there might actually be a person up stairs.

Gavin: (screams and runs down the stairs).

Hannah: whats wrong Gavin where Ethan?

Gavin: (crying) there's someone up stairs and they killed him they stabbed Ethan in the stomach and started chasing me.

Kassandra: Oh… Shit (runs to the living room)

-back in the living room-

Nolan: Did you get the gun?

Kassandra: Yes, but we need to get the hell out of this cabin!

Angie: What about Ethan?

Gavin: He’s gone (starts crying again)

Byron: (crying) What Ethans dead!?

Kassanda: We don’t know that he could still be alive.

Nolan: But, logically speaking he is most likely dead.

Brody: Nolan now is not the time to be a smart ass. Kassandra I am going with you to save Ethan.

Kassandra: Why do you want to come with me?

Brody: Well while we were making a failed attempt to make sure this house is safe we made a buddy system, and well logically speaking like Nolan said your buddy is dead and well mine is kinda crying in the corner because Ethan was just stabbed and was being chased my a serial killer.

Kassandra: You made a buddy system and you didn’t tell anyone who wasn’t with you guys about it?!

Brody: Sorry my bad.

Kassandra: Ethan still could have been alive right now, because you didn’t tell us Ethan is dying and we could have shot the bastard who did that to him.

Brody: Again, my bad but out of all honesty I didn’t think about that.

-Kassandra and Brody going up the stairs-

Kassandra: Okay, if you see Ethan take him back down to the group.

Brody: what about you.

Kassandra: Like I said before I'm going to shoot this bastard.

Brody: sounds like a plan.

Ethan: Guys help me.

Brody: That’s Ethan.

Kassandra: Shh… Be quite.

Ethan: Please Help.

Brody: you go and kill that bastard.

-Ethan and Brody before Kassandra leaves-

Ethan: Brody please take out the knife.

Kassanda: Brody don’t take out the knife if you do he will start bleeding. Get him back to the group.

Brody: What about you?

Kassandra: I told you what I was going to do.

Ethan: Hopefully shoot the bastard.

Kassandra: Get Ethan back to the group.

-Ethan and Brody are back with the group-

Bryon and Gavin: (crying) Ethans alive.

Angie: where’s Kassandra… is she…

Brody: No, not yet at least, she’s going to shoot that bastard.

-hears a thump going down the stairs-

Angie: (who was trying to help Ethan accidently gets scared and pulls out the knife) Oh shit, oh shit oh shit.

Brody: whats wrong?

Angie: (crying) I’m so sorry, it was an accident I didn’t mean too.

Hannah: it’s okay accidents happen, Nolan can you use your first aid kit to stop the bleeding?

Nolan: I could try.

Hannah: What fell down the stairs?

Brody: I don’t know?

Hannah: I think that I am going to check it out.

Nolan: where’s Hannah going?

Jason: she is going to check out what fell. You should have been listing

Nolan: oh, I’m sorry do you want Ethan to bleed to death?

Jason: No not really.

Nolan: exactly don’t give me that sass mister.

Gavin: Please hurry he’s bleeding out fast.

Hannah: (screams)

-everyone runs to hannah including Nolan-

Angie: she’s dead guys (in shock)

Jason: what are we going to do with the body?

Nolan: leave her there I guess?

Gavin: No, we’ll move her!

Brody: to make it easier for the killer to get to us no thank you.

Gavin: Now that I think about it.

Hannah: No, we are moving her, we moved Ethan.

Brody: Ethan also wasn’t dead when we moved him.

Hannah: Well he’s dead now!

Gavin: Okay fine we are moving her.

Hannah: Good.

-back in the living room-

Gavin:(crying because Ethan is dead) Ethan wake up, please buddy stay with me I didn’t mean it when I said I wouldn’t be your friend ever again you are one of the best friends that I have ever had please buddy stay with me, wake up please.

Nolan: (puts hand of Gavins shoulder) he’s gone Gavin, sorry.

Byron: where's the bathroom?

Brody: down the hall and to your left don’t forget your buddy.

Byron: Come on Nolan.

Nolan: Great now I have to babysit.

-Nolan and Byron going towards the bathroom-

Nolan: Do you have to go number one or number two?

Byron: Number two.

Nolan: Holy moley

Byron: Hey you when you gotta go you gotta go.

Nolan: Fine hurry up.

Guy in ski mask: (in a panel in the ceiling)

-Byron in the bathroom-

Guy in the ski mask: (chokes Byron with a wire)

Byron:(struggles but dies)

Guy in ski mask: (goes out of the bathroom and shoots and kills Nolan

-back in the living room-

Angie: (crying) No… that's not good, thats not good at all.

Hannah: (showing tears but is staying strong) No, no its not.

Gavin: there gone aren't they.

Brody: No! Nolan can’t be dead! (crying) He was my best friend I am going to go and save Nolan.

Gavin: it’s okay.

Brody: no it’s not my best friend is dead.

Gavin: so is mine.

Brody: I don’t care I’m going to go save Nolan.

Gavin: fine but i'm going with you. You’ll need me.

Brody: No, your going to stay with the group they need you more than I will.

Gavin: why?

Brody: because I am not planning on coming back (runs towards the bathroom before Gavin could say anything else)

-Brody going to find Nolan/Byron-

Guy in the ski mask: (stabs brody)

brody:(screams)

Guy in the ski mask: (pull out knife)

-Back in the living room-

Jason: I’m going to sacrifice myself so you can get the hell out of this place.

Hannah: and me and Angie are going to pack up as much stuff, and Gavin is going to be in the car waiting for us, so we can leave.

Gavin: okay sounds like a good plan.

-Hannah, Angie and Gavin all leave the cabin as fast as they can-

Angie: start with Gavins stuff so if we die he can still leave.

Hannah: good plan

*loads all of Gavins stuff in the van and hears gunshot*

Hannah: Jason’s dead.

Guy in the Ski mask: (runs in the trees close to the groups campsite)

-guy in the ski mask get to the group's site-

Guy in the ski mask: (runs up behind Angie and stabbed her in the heart from the back)

Hannah: Angie! Gavin drive!

* Gavin drove off watching hannah get killed by the killer, then she screams in pain and died*

-40 years later-

Gavins grandkids: Hey grandpa, we’re thinking about going camping just past the pass do you want to come?

Gavin: hell no, I’m going to stay right here.

Gavin’s grandkids: why?

Gavin: because when I was your age, I went camping there and It all ended badly.

Gavin’s grandkids: It couldn’t have ended that bad.

Gavin: the last time I was there, there was a serial killer on the loose and all of my friends died.

Gavin’s grandkids: how did you survive.

Gavin: they all sacrificed themselves for me so I could survive. And they never caught the killer, so I am going to ask you to please change your campsite, it's dangerous because they never caught the killer that killed my friends.

-The End-
